Since the last CRCA blog on April 8th one of our residents, Katharine Casey, has asked that we share an initiative she has taken in our community to connect neighbours with offers to help (or to ask for help) with things like picking up groceries, borrowing a tool, or otherwise lending a hand.

Katharine said that the idea came to her after offering to help one of her neighbours and wanting to make sure she was safe.

Her group can be found by putting Columbia Lake Community Group in the Facebook search function. If you need help accessing the group, Katharine’s contact information is  katharine.casey@bell.ca text: 493-829-8869.

Although, this is not a CRCA Board initiative we appreciate her efforts to help neighbours connect and reach out to each other especially during these difficult times.
